Lucky us! We get to use new product at our next Scrapbook workshop. This layout is made from the new Twitterpated line. And notice the new dimensional Elements buttons...so darn cute...You will get them with your kit! This Layout is going to be so fun to make and AGAIN it is so versatile. It can be used for Family Reunions, Baby pictures, kids age progression, or to document your own personal growth.
Scrapbooking night will be Friday August 21 @ 7:00. Let me know if you are planning on coming. I will need your payment by the 15th so I can get everything ordered. The cost of the Layout Kit is $15. However the Kit DOES NOT include the Dimensional Elements for the word "grow" We have ordered these for various other layouts. so you should have them in your stash. But go through and make sure! Pulling Out The Big Guns!
Dust off those Embossing guns. Here's the layout we will be making at our up coming Scrapbook night. A fun layout with a color scheme PERFECT for Summer Fun. This layout will be great to capture your July Fourth activities, family get togethers or just the randomness of all your summer fun!
If there is anyone else who wants to join us, we would love for you to come. We will be getting together at my house on June 26th at 7:00 pm.
Embossing all these fun tags, ruler marks and "do -dads" is a fun way to document all the ins-and -outs of your Families summer memories.
It kind of reminds me of the doodling on my notebooks back in Jr. High
If there is anyone else who wants to join us, we would love for you to come. We will be getting together at my house on June 26th at 7:00 pm.
The packet is $15 dollars and needs to be prepaid by June 19th.
*remember to bring your left over yellow polka-dot paper from last months group, as we will be using it on this layout.
Looking forward to seeing you all!

You're a Hoot
The new Summer Catalog has just been released, so for our Workshop on Friday we will be playing with some of the NEW product. Yeah!
Here is the layout we will be making. It uses my favorite new paper packet called Bella. Now for those of you who have an aversion to flowers (and you know who you are) there is paper in there that you can swap out and use instead of the flowers. So no worries LOL!

Super Simple Valentine Decor.
Here's a fun Valentine project you could use as decor in your home, or even give it to some one as a Valentine gift. You can do it of your kiddos. If you only have one child just use 4 different photos of them. Or it also look fantastic with the SAME photo used over and over again. A cute collage of you and your Honey would also be great. Heck you can use it even to showcase your pets if you want. Those of you that take my Scrapbook workshop should already have most of this stuff in your stash.
I started off by removing the glass from my frame. This makes it a little bit more tactile. And you could add as many accessories as you'd like. I cut my pictures down to 2 1/2" x 4 1/2". My topper is 3 1/2" x 10 "
I took my chipboard letters and covered them in Colonial White cardstock. Then I ruffed up the edges by running the edge of my scissors blade around the edges of each letter. I then covered each letter with clear glue and shook prisma glitter on them. This make the letter sparkle! kind of like an old fashioned Valentine.
Give it a try this project can be made in less that an hour! And it turns out so cute.

Stair Stepper Card
Here's a fun card that was inspired by another Consultant Vicki Wizinski. I call it a stepper card. Here is what it looks like all closed up. The finished size (when folded up) is 4 1/4" X 5 1/2 " So It will fit in a "regular" envelope.
But SURPRISE! when you open it up it has little "steps" that give it a fun dimensional look. If you Noticed I used the same stamps "Good Times" (the FREE Set). It's the same stamps as the ones used on the layout in the post below. I even used the same Paper Packet...Day Dream. But by using Black Ink and cardstock, in gives this set a more "Retro" feel. Wouldn't it be fun to make a Stair Stepper Valentine card? Hmmmm

Do You Have any of These Kids at Your house?
What are some of your kids favorite food? For a fun memory why not do a scrap book layout showcasing it? Brinley could SERIOUSLY eat Peanut Butter and Jelly for breakfast, lunch and dinner...if I would let her. On this layout I used Yummy paper from Close To My Heart's "Daydream" paper line. You have to see this paper up close to see it's true "yumminess"
Here is how I got the word "jelly" to look like actual jelly. I started off with chipboard letters. I prefer Close To My Heart Dimensional Elements Alphabet. They are WHITE thus making them easy to ink up. I just rubbed my letters over my ink pad to get the desired color I wanted. Then I embossed them with clear embossing powder. But to get them even "gooey er" I kind of "swirled " some liquid glass on them to give it more texture. Whala!
